EBVS:

E.B Vigilance Section is working under the office of the Chief Engineer (Human Resource Management) mainly dealing with the processing of disciplinary proceedings against the employees of and below the rank of Assistant Executive Engineers and Assistant Accounts Officers.

  1. This Section deals with various appeal petitions against the orders of lower disciplinary authorities such as Deputy Chief Engineers, Executive Engineers etc.

  2. This Section prepares statements of facts in Court Cases related to the disciplinary cases.

  3. Vigilance clearances in respect of the employees for various purposes like obtaining Passports, Promotions, Retirement / Pensionary benefits etc. More than that, this Office also accords sanctions for the employees to indulge in extra curricular activities, contesting in election in various co-operative bodies, literary works etc.

  4. This Section also collects Property Statements of employees of and below the rank of Assistant Executive Engineers and Assistant Accounts Officers.

EB Gradation:

Gradation Section is entrusted with the preparation of seniority list of both Executive and Ministerial Staff in the regular service of the K.S.E.Board.

The following functions are carried out in this section:

  1. Preparation of Gradation list

  2. Regular updating of the existing Gradation list

  3. Providing list for effecting promotion

  4. Junior Senior Fixation

  5. Inviting Option for promotion

  6. Court Cases.

AB Section:

The AB Section details with the following:

  1. Safe custody of documents and applications submitted for House Construction Advance which are not processed for the lack of funds allotted by the Board, which have to be returned as and when their request for the same is received.

  2. Release of mortgage deeds of HCA after repayment of HCA with interest along with furnishing of letter to Sub Registrar.

  3. Sanctioning of orders for refund of excess amount remitted by employees towards HCA, Conveyance Advance and Marriage Advance.

  4. Cancellation process of Conveyance Advance sanctioned earlier, but not pre-audited or encashed.

  5. Processing of PF NRA applications.

  6. Extension of allocation of Quarters beyond the limit of field officers, redressal of grievances of employees and others regarding allocation and eviction based on merits and existing rules.

The GB Section deals with the following:

  1. Scrutiny and approval of Medical Reimbursement Bill of officers and staff of Vydyuthi Bhavanam and the amount exceeding Rs.4000/- from Distribution, Generation, Transmission and System Operation.

  2. Obtaining clarification from Director of Health Services about the admissibility regarding medicines/tests.

  3. Processing the application of medical advance and its settlement and allied works and releasing the Indemnity Bond.

  4. Right to Information matters regarding Medical Reimbursement.
